Rowaizak's inspiration for the Spirit of Time stool stems from a desire to create a design that is not only visually appealing but also deeply connected to nature. The stool's form is derived from the complex and complimentary relationship between leaves and their branches, mirroring the geometrical forms and dualities found in the natural world.

What sets the Spirit of Time stool apart is its ability to transcend cultural boundaries and serve as a platform for self-expression. By rotating and sitting on the stool from different sides, users can create a new experience with each interaction. The realization of the Spirit of Time stool involved a meticulous fabrication process. Using a 3-axis CNC router, each wooden piece was cut separately and later merged and connected through a core in the center of the stool. This innovative construction process allowed for the incorporation of intricate details and ensured the stool's structural integrity.

Measuring 100 cm in length, 100 cm in width, and 90 cm in height, the Spirit of Time stool is a testament to the designer's attention to detail. Delicate parts are carefully connected and integrated through the core, resulting in a cohesive and visually stunning design.

The Spirit of Time stool was created as part of a design project that spanned from February to August 2015 in the United Arab Emirates. Rowaizak's research into incorporating biological and natural aspects into functional designs played a crucial role in the development of this unique piece. The intricate topology of the stool activates the senses of the observer, creating a truly immersive experience.

This exceptional design has not gone unnoticed. The Spirit of Time stool was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in the Fine Arts and Art Installation Design category in 2016. This prestigious accolade recognizes the stool's outstanding creativity, resourcefulness, and contribution to improving the quality of life through art, science, design, and technology.
